As well as the 21st Century's double World Rally Champion, Marcus Gronholm, the Rally Show at Chatsworth on 7/8 June will be visited by at least one World Rally Champion from the 20th Century:
Stig Blomqvist, World Champion in 1984 at the wheel of an Audi quattro, is scheduled to make an appearance at the Show.

2008/2009 membership is now due and we have made it easier than ever to join.

Held on July 13th 2008, this will be the first time this event will be run and the first time Greystoke forest will have been used as a single venue for many years.

Situated just 5 miles from the M6 and Penrith in Cumbria, Greystoke forest is currently being used by M-Sport for testing purposes.

Morecambe Car Club successfully ran the first stage on the 2008 Malcolm Wilson rally as in previous years. The stage at Hobcarton provided both dramatic scenery and challenging tracks and makes for a fine spectacle.

This year’s dinner and presentation looks like being the best for years. Mark Higgins, if not summoned to Monte Carlo, will support Wynn Humphreys and wait for it ladies, Jock Armstrong will make the trip from the Borders to be with us. All this adds up to what must be the highlight of the year so make sure you write down January 26 in your diary. Tony North will be judging the photo competition on Thursday January 3 at 8pm the venue will be this time at the Broadway Hotel, as the Headway is closed so dig out your 2007 snaps and let Tony cast his professional eye over them.

The cars deemed too fast to race, the exhilarating Group B Rally cars, will be wowing the crowds at Race Retro 2008, the international historic motorsport show. Held from 14th to 16th March at Stoneleigh Park, near Coventry, the cars are being brought to the show by the Slowly Sideways Group GB and will roar along the three-quarter -mile asphalt rally demonstration stage on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March.
